Ferris once asked us a very important question: "If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away?" And had Ferris just obliged to what Cameron wanted, if he agreed to just take the 1961 Ferrari GT California back to the garage, no adventures would have been had---no priceless works of art viewed or pancreas eaten.

Because this 1961 model is more than just a classic because it looks good, reaches top speeds, was once ahead of its class.  It is a classic because Ferris used it to fake ill, pose as Mr. Peterson and pick Sloan Peterson up from school. It is a classic because Ferris got behind the wheel, called himself the "Sausage King of Chicago" and spent the day driving around the city. It is a classic because it helped fuel the iconic scenes in one of the most beloved, all-time favorite coming-of-age films.

On this Throw Back Thursday we recognize this Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the 1961 Ferrari GT California. Celebrate the brand that helped revolutionize how we play hookie and get behind the wheel of the new Ferrari California T at Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano, TX today.
